askm..
arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
family was poisoned by the geylang rojak stall!!!
damn those indian ppl who made the rojak!!!
not a racist..but i dont trust indians when i comes to food!!!
grrr!!!...so thurs night (the day my family gt poisoned)..went to hospital..
cgh a&e at ard 11+pm...my parents were the 1st ones to get stomach cramps n diarrhoea..
they seen the doc and was given jab..then headed home..
early in the morn abt 3-4am...my sis's turn..went hosp..gt jab..home..
mine came ard 6-7am...had diarrhoea and cramps..not as bad as my parents..
just ate the meds doc gave my mum...felt a bit better..
today..the paper reports abt the rojak stall..i want compensation!!!
ok..so yesterday was saturday..
although im sick..i still went for the cgh mass casualty exercise..by MOH
its just looks too interesting to miss..even the name is interesting..dont ya think???
so my role in my scenario..i was supposed to be looking for my 'lil sis' who was caught in
the 'bomb explosion'..so as the next of kin, my job is to irritate the staff members of the hospital
for info of our 'loved ones'..while asking for info..i was supposed to have a asthma attack..so i acted my asthma attack..lie down on the floor feeling breathless with wheezing sounds..
was brought to the a&e and i need 'medical attention'..
here's the catch..there is 2 ways to the a&e..the front and the back..
those who are in the exercise were supposed to go by the back door..
the real patients who are really sick of course will be using the front door..
now...the nurse who brought me to the a&e went thru the front door..
obviously they thought im having a real asthma attack!..but i was faking it...
i thought they knew i was acting..so i went along with the whole thing..
was brought into a room..the doc check my lungs and ordered 2:1:1 neb
the nurses taking my history..evrything...
in my mind: *woah!..this is cool or what..these ppl are so serious*..duh!..a&e!!
they gave me the neb..so i just played along with it..the clerk asked my fren to register me..woah..for a brief moment there i was a patient in cgh..wooooooooo!!!!!!!!
the nurses came back..and asked me whether i was part of the exercise..i said yes la..
then they start scolding me..
nurse: why nvr tell me u were part of the exercise..u were supposed to go thru the back door not the front door..
me: i tot it was all part of the exercise!..nobody told me to go to the back door..i was pushed by a nurse to the front door
nurse: haiya!..now have to cancel admission evrything..we give u real neb u know!
me: really ah!?(feeling high+happy face..side effects of the neb)
*in my mind*: wow!..this is good april's fool!!!
had my bp and heart rate checked...and boy my heart rate super fast!!(side effects of neb)
normal heart rate: 60-100
mine: 140-160++
just so u know..i was feeling high..i do not know what i was thinking..
so the MOH ppl rushed to me..i explain la..then they keep saying that they are sorry and evrything..they brought me to the doc afterwards for a real checkup..make sure nothing is wrong with me..make sure i was ok..
wow..1st time experience nebuliser..woohoo!!..now i know what my patients feel like...haha!!
so that was my part being the next of kin..next i played the casualty..
was brought in to the ambulance...to the back of the a&e..lie down on the trolley bed..
i was supposed to act like i was hurt frm the 'bomb explosion' and frm what the cards says..
i had a big hole/wound/cut in my chest..dont care..i just lie on the bed and it was like a rollercoaster ride!!
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!
now i know how it feels like when a patient feeling abt going to a/an operation
lie on the bed..nurse pulling the bed by the side..patient feeling nervous being dragged to the ot room..haha
frm a&e..brought me to a ward in the a&e..put a 'chest tube'..blahx3
brought me to 'ot room'..then up the lift to ward 37..haha..omg..ward 37 brings back memories..haha..some of the staff nurses i know were there..
so they brought me to the ward..parked me at bed 18..lying there was a bore..so i sat up..
looking at the other real! patients in the ward..omg..now i know what it feels like to be a patient...
hahaha...the experience is gr8..had fun..
