welcome to part 2...
today offially started my attachment at bedok polyclinic....
as always crowded in the morn..thought it would be gr8 and tiring but it turns out to be boring...seriously..
signed in for work at the nurse manager's office..
briefed of our attachment at the conference room..seperated to diff rooms of diff skills..went to help out in the counselling room and the D.O.T room...
what i do in the room u might ask...help take height and weight..observe patients with nebuliser with o2 therapy...see patients getting counseled(spelling) abt diabetes..cholesterol..asthma..hiv..oops...hiv supposed to be confidential..but who cares..hahahaha..and most of the time sit ard doing nothing...
the only climax out of the whole day was getting a small boy aged perhaps 6yrs old putting on a oxygen mask + nebulizer..challenging task coz the boy was screaming and hostile and crying at the same time...in the end they(boy and his dad) settled down...
had early lunch(12pm instead of usual 1pm)..coz 'ci' wants us to attend a talk...but manager said its only for the sisters...so we lepak-ed for another hour..yea!!!..free hour!!!..
after lunch there was not much things to do or to look at...outside was still packed but inside was very ulu(empty+quiet)...so sat ard..looking at pamplets..tralalallalalala....
4pm came and bye bye bedok poly!!!..
ps: to all students taking mc at bedok polyclinic...u suck! at lying!!!!!!
